
Ruby Ihekweme is an Education and Technology activist passionate about driving inclusive innovation.
A Chartered Accountant with a degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, she began her career as a Data Analyst at KPMG before transitioning to work with tech-enabled startups across education, fintech, and energy sectors.
In 2022, she founded DigitaleY Drive, an EdTech startup that leverages AI, gamification, and community learning to transform education across Africa. Since its inception, the platform has trained over 18,000 tech talents across 10+ countries and built a thriving community of over 100,000 youths.
Ruby’s work has been featured in The Guardian Nigeria, Techpoint Africa, Nigerian Tribune, and other notable platforms. She has also been recognized by Lagos Innovates and the Flutterwave & WeTech PitchHER Initiative as one of Africa’s top female founders, championing innovation and access in the digital education landscape.
